From what I saw, up to 1\/4&#8243; of ice covered trees, branches and wires , adding a tremendous weight that forced many trees to topple over. Some got stuck in the power and service lines.<br \/>Altough public service crews are working day and night to restore electricity to households, many people are still with out power as I write this.
